Dominique and Andrea

“Serving God and living a life surrendered to Him is a minute by minute choice. Sometimes life tries to impede on our relationship with Him, but we have to shut out every distraction and focus our attention to Him” – Dominique German

Dominique was born in Houston, TX, and is the youngest of three siblings. He grew up in a very loving home with his parents John and Virgie German. From a young age Dominique was fascinated with the stories he read in the Word of God and he desired a relationship with the man, Jesus, at the center of all the great stories he had read. This desire grew even more after the loss of his father, John. After, the loss of his father Dominique entered a season full of heartache and suffering that eventually led him to reevaluate his faith completely and give His heart and life fully to Jesus and he hasn’t turned back since. Following his rebirth he enrolled in The College of Biblical Studies and earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Biblical Studies and Biblical Counseling.

Andrea was born in Kansas City, MO, unlike her husband she is an only child and was raised in a single parent home by her mother, Patricia. Although, she was raised without the love and support of her father she was surrounded by the love of her mother and extended family. Being raised in a strict Christian home, Andrea was involved in church at a young age. However, it wasn’t until she was a senior in high school that she began to really live for Christ. As soon as she began a real relationship with Jesus, she felt Gods call on her life and she began working in ministry.

It was in the Spring of 2007 that Andrea and Dominique met through a mutual friend. Instantly, they knew that they were meant for each other and were soon engaged. In 2009, Andrea moved from CA to TX and they began their life together as a married couple.

God, family, ministry and music is at the core of their marriage. They have been blessed to work in various facets of ministry – worship ministry, prison ministry, outreach and evangelism, marriage counseling, children’s ministry, as well as at risk youth and abused women’s programs, etc. Through their experiences they have learned that nothing is impossible for God and that He can restore even the most broken situations.

In 2013, during a period of fasting and seeking, God spoke to them regarding their music ministry. It was then that He called them to a new level in worship ministry. Where their focus isn’t just singing songs and “entertaining” but rather he mandated them to be carriers of His presence. Their focus and goal in worship ministry is to cultivate an atmosphere of true worship without any limitations.

“Although we can worship God through music, true worship is so much more than that. I am relentlessly pursuing true worship – a lifestyle of total surrender and reverence to God…The Almighty” – Andrea German
